Smoked mackerel pate

About this recipe: Simple tasty starter. Serve with warm French bread and try your best not to eat the whole lot in one go !!!

Ingredients

Serves: 8 

  • 3 or 4 smoked peppered mackerel fillets
  • 200g P® soft cream cheese (full fat)
  • 150ml Greek style yoghurt (full fat)
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1 dash Tabasco® sauce

Method

Prep:15min  ›  Ready in:15min 

  1. Skin and check the fillets for any bones that haven't been removed.
  2. Place everything in a food processor and blitz until smoothish.
  3. Transfer to serving or storage bowl and serve or chill in fridge. Keeps for a good few days.
