Strawberry compote

    2 hours 15 min

Delicious and very simple to prepare, this strawberry compote is endlessly versatile and a great way to enjoy in-season, local strawberries. Let the sauce cool several hours in the fridge for an ideal result. Makes a beautiful topping for vanilla ice cream for a summertime dessert.
