    Here's a recipe for the classic American breakfast - bacon and eggs. If you begin the day with a solid breakfast like this, you probably won't be hungry for the rest of the day.

    • 16 rashers smoked streaky bacon
    • 4 whole eggs

    1. Place the bacon rashers in a large frying pan over medium heat, and cook until crisp, turning often, about 7 minutes. Remove the bacon to a plate lined with kitchen paper.
    2. Break each egg into the pan and cook in the hot bacon fat until the edges begin to turn golden and the yolks begin to set. Carefully remove from the pan with a spatula and serve immediately with the bacon.
