About this recipe:Fresh mussels bought at the market in the morning and cooked for lunch, there is nothing better! I had a bit of pineau des Charentes aperitif (made with grape juice and eau de vie) and it was really delicious. Here's my recipe! Note: Pineau des Charentes aperitif is available online or through speciality shops.

Simmer for about 5 minutes or until mussels have opened. Remove bouquet garni and serve with the cooking juices, with plenty of fresh bread for mopping up!
