Preheat the oven to 190 C / Gas 5. Line a baking tray with baking parchment.
Beat the eggs with the sugar in a bowl until pale and creamy. Stir in the grated chocolate, cocoa, plain flour and ground almonds. Form the dough into a ball, cover with cling film and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes.

Bake in the preheated oven until firm to the touch, about 15 minutes.
Well, not sure the quantities are correct on this recipe because there's no way my mixture was anything like a "dough"!
I added quite a bit ore flour in the end and ended up with a kind of "rock bun" mix (nice but not what I was expecting/aiming for) - 08 Mar 2013
Delicious! I must have eaten half the cookie dough which was just too yummy. With what was left I made 15 cookies! I read people's notes , so went slow on the liquid. On the end one egg (Yes the whole egg) and a teaspoon of vanilla (i was out of cocoa) was enoigh. Am making them again tonight! - 01 Oct 2015
