About this recipe: Tasty prawn brochettes with a fresh ginger and lemon juice marinade. Ideal as a summer starter for dinner with friends or a picnic at the beach!


Serves: 4 

  • 500g cooked shelled prawns
  • 5cm fresh root ginger, peeled and diced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander
  • juice of 1 lime
  • a dash of Tabasco®

Prep:10min  ›  Extra time:2hr marinating  ›  Ready in:2hr10min 

  1. Put all ingredients in a sealable plastic bag; seal and shake well to mix.
  2. Place in refrigerator for 2 hours to marinate.
  3. Slide prawns onto wooden or metal skewers, place on plates and drizzle with marinade. Serve chilled.
