After months of trying to get the perfect shortbread recipe, I have finally got it! This is a quick and easy recipe. They taste brilliant when still warm, and melt in your mouth with the dreamy chocolate!

Preheat the oven to 150 C / Gas 2. Put the flour, sugar and butter in a large bowl. Rub together until they look like fine breadcrumbs.
Put into a 20cm wide tin and use a back of a teaspoon to make level. Carefully, cut into 8.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
Whilst baking boil a pot of water, and put a heat-proof bowl on top. When the water has boiled, place the chocolate (in squares) in the bowl, and leave to melt. After melting the chocolate, turn the heat off, and take the bowl off the pot.
When baked, cut again into 8, and leave for 5 minutes to cool. When cooled, take out a slice at a time and dip in chocolate. After this, put on a plate, and into the fridge to cool. Eat when you wish. Can be frozen for up to 3 months.
