Beef and veal mince burgers

    Ingredients
    Serves: 4 

    • 500g veal mince
    • 200g beef mince
    • 5 sprigs fresh parsley, minced
    • 1 pinch paprika
    • 5 tablespoons red wine
    • 1 teaspoon fish sauce
    • 1 onion, minced
    • 1 tablepoon olive oil
    • 4 burger buns
    • 2 tablespoons barbecue sauce
    • 4 tablespoons mustard
    • 1/2 gherkin, chopped
    • 3 pinches salt
    • 2 pinches pepper
    • 8 cheese slices of our choice

    1. Preheat your oven to 180 C / Gas 4.
    2. In a large bowl mix veal and beef mince with parsley, paprika, wine, fish sauce, onion and olive oil. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
    3. Meanwhile, toast burger buns in preheated oven until they have nice colour, about 5 to 7 minutes. ,
    4. For the saucepan stir barbecue sauce with mustard and gherkin. Leave to one side.
    5. Using your hands, form burgers from the marinated mince. Barbecue or grill in your oven for 8 minutes, 4 minutes per side. Spread sauce on buns, top with burgers and serve.
