About this recipe:Golden, soft, delicious patties. Great served with potatoes and sauerkraut or beetroot salad. Add chopped fresh mushrooms and season with favourite spices. This recipe works well with minced beef or minced poultry also.

700g pork shoulder, minced
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
salt and pepper, to taste

Soak the roll in water.
Combine the minced pork, egg, onion and garlic in a bowl and mix well.
Squeeze water out of the roll and add to the meat mixture. Stir in breadcrumbs and seasoning. Form small patties (wet hands will help with this).
Heat the oil over medium high heat. Fry the patties on both sides until brown. Pour in the 350ml water, cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
