About this recipe: My family adores rice porridge as a special breakfast treat. It's basically one part rice to two parts water. Brown rice also works well but it takes a little longer to cook. You can jazz it up with berries, nuts or add a drizzle of honey.
Very delicious! nice dish to eat before school! make sure to make some for the kids!.... would definitely make this again! 2 cups of rice makes ALOT! I used 2 cups because I thought it wouldn't be enough for me, turned out to be WAYYY to much... The only tweaks I did was that I put 2 cups of rice and I didn't put butter in it.... turned out thick and beautiful, it had the same consistency of an oat porridge! fantastic, thanks user for this beautiful recipe! - 09 Apr 2015

For me it's a lot lighter than Oats, exactly what I needed. I have to say personally the butter was very overwhelming but overall very delicious. - 04 Apr 2014
