Green pea spread

    This is a really delicious and nutritious vegetarian green pea spread, perfect as a starter on melba toast or crispbread.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 8 

    • 1 tin green peas, drained
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 2 teaspoons marjoram
    • 1 teaspoon herbes de Provence
    • 2 tablespoons butter
    • 100ml water
    • salt and pepper, to taste

    1. In a food processor, combine all of the ingredients and blend until smooth. Serve or keep in the fridge until needed.

    Tip

    If fresh peas are available, you can try substituting the tinned peas for fresh.
