About this recipe: Healthy desserts don't have to be boring! These verrines are made of layered fruit purees with a hint of cream cheese for substance. No added sugar, delicious and refreshing. Serve well chilled.


Serves: 6 

  • 2 bananas, peeled
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 6 kiwi fruits, peeled
  • 500g strawberries, hulled
  • juice of 1/2 lemon

  1. Mix bananas and cream cheese in a food processor; stir well and spoon mixture evenly into 6 glasses.
  2. Blend kiwi fruits to a puree, then layer kiwi mixture over banana mixture in the glasses.
  3. Blend strawberries to a puree, squeeze in lemon juice and mix well. Layer strawberry puree over the kiwi puree in the glasses.
  4. Cover glasses with cling film and chill until serving.
