About this recipe: My kids love them! Some breadcrumbs, a little seasoning, and it's ready. You can also use this recipe for breaded prawns, fish or turkey.


Serves: 2 

  • 2 chicken breast fillets, cubed
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 80g dried breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil

  1. Beat egg with lemon juice in a small bowl. In another bowl combine breadcrumbs with parsley, salt and pepper. Dip chicken pieces in egg mixture, then breadcrumbs to coat.
  2. Heat oil in a medium frying pan. Fry chicken nuggets over medium-low heat for about 10 minutes, turning occasionally, until chicken is no longer pink inside and juices run clear.
