Mixed berry crumble

    A simple baked berry dessert that is best when eaten still warm and served with vanilla ice cream.

    • 500g fresh or frozen mixed berries (blueberries, raspberries, blackberries)
    • 75g butter, cut into small pieces
    • 100g caster sugar
    • 100g plain flour

    1. Preheat oven to 200 C / Gas 6 and lightly grease a 23x30cm baking tin.
    2. In a small bowl combine flour with sugar, then add butter pieces. Rub between your fingertips until it has a sand like texture.
    3. Spread berries in prepared tin and sprinkle with crumble mixture to cover.
    4. Bake in preheated oven until top of crumble is golden brown, about 25 minutes.
