For Christmas, Easter or Valentine's Day these truffles will satisfy any chocolate addict. They are very easy to make, the hardest part is trying not to lick your fingers!

Ingredients
Makes: 30 truffles
250ml double cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
300g plain chocolate, chopped
20g butter, diced
Method Prep:5min › Cook:5min › Extra time:2hr › Ready in:2hr10min
Pour cream into a small saucepan, add vanilla and bring to the boil.
Add chopped chocolate to a mixing bowl and pour in cream mixture; whisk. Add butter and whisk again until consistency is smooth.
Cover with cling film and chill for at least 2 hours.
Once the ganache is set and firm, form balls with your hands. Roll the truffles in your choice of ground nuts, unsweetened cocoa powder, toasted desiccated coconut, etc.
