About this recipe: Piquant Gorgonzola gives panna cotta a savoury makeover. This is a unique savoury starter that's sure to be a conversation piece at your next dinner party! Though optional, try sprinkling the panna cotta with toasted chopped walnuts just before serving.


Serves: 6 

  • 3 gelatine leaves
  • 200ml single cream
  • 150g Gorgonzola cheese, cubed
  • 250g ricotta cheese

Prep:20min  ›  Cook:5min  ›  Extra time:6hr chilling  ›  Ready in:6hr25min 

  1. Put gelatine leaves in a small bowl of cold water to soak.
  2. In a medium saucepan, bring cream to the boil. Once boiling remove from heat quickly and add softened gelatine, cubed Gorgonzola and ricotta. Whisk until smooth and put over low heat for a few minutes, stirring, to remove lumps.
  3. Pour evenly into 6 glasses. Cover with cling film and put in fridge to chill and set for at least 6 hours.
