Melt the chocolate in a bowl over hot water (or in the microwave). Allow to cool slightly, then beat in the eggs (if you don't allow the chocolate to cool, the eggs could separate or scramble!). Fold in the cream.
Spread the chocolate mixture on the bottom of the pie crust.
Place the pear slices on top of the chocolate spread. Sprinkle with caster sugar to glaze.
Bake until the pears are golden brown, about 25 minutes. Allow to cool, serve and enjoy.
