Prunes stuffed with cheese and garlic

    This is one of my most favorite party nibbles: sweet prunes with a savoury filling. Soft prunes will work best. If your prunes are too leathery, you need to soak them in water ahead of time.

    Serves: 4 

    • 200g grated cheese
    • 2 garlic cloves, minced
    • 100g walnuts, chopped
    • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
    • 150g pitted prunes, softened

    1. In a bowl combine cheese, nuts, garlic, and mayonnaise.
    2. Find the cut in the prune, and stretch it carefully with your finger to make a hollow. Be careful not rip the prune open.
    3. Using your fingers, stuff prunes with the filling. Refigerate till serving.
