Lay out the dough, sprinkle with flour and roll out lightly. Mark three equal sections. Spoon the filling into the central section. Make shallow diagonal cuts in the top layer then brush with egg and sprinkle with sugar. Transfer to a lightly greased baking tray.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown and the pastry has risen. Remove from the oven and serve warm, or allow to cool before enjoying.
