Tasty chicken with mushrooms and sage

    A delicious and tasty casserole chicken, very simple to prepare. Sage and mushrooms are delicious with braised chicken.

    Serves: 4 

    • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
    • 2 tablespoons olive oil
    • salt and pepper
    • 4 organic chicken legs
    • 6 sage leaves
    • 1 dash white wine
    • 250g fresh mushrooms of your choice, finely chopped
    • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley

    1. In a large pan fry the garlic until golden with the olive oil.
    2. Rub some salt and pepper on the chicken and add it to the pan. Sear it until golden, about 10 minutes. Stir in the sage, wine and mushrooms, and cook until the wine evaporates, about 5 minutes.
    3. Turn the heat down, cover and cook until the chicken is no longer pink at the centre, about 45 minutes.
    4. Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
