Pan fried duck leg with garlic potatoes

    A meaty duck leg is pan fried in butter with sliced new potatoes, garlic and fresh dill.

    Serves: 4 

    • 1 duck leg (about 225g)
    • 2 tablespoons butter
    • 6 new potatoes, sliced
    • 3 cloves of garlic, peeled and thinly sliced
    • salt and pepper to taste
    • freshly chopped dill, to taste

    1. Melt butter in pan over medium-low heat; add duck, cover and cook for 20 minutes.
    2. Add sliced potatoes and sliced garlic; continue to cook until the potatoes are tender, adding 1 or 2 tablespoons water of necessary.
    3. Season with salt, pepper and fresh dill.
