Easy Maltesers® fridge cake

    Everyone loves Maltesers®. This recipe is quick, easy and tastes absolutely amazing! It's a no-bake square that the kids can help you make.

    Serves: 4 

    • 100g butter or margarine
    • 3 tablespoons golden syrup
    • 150g milk chocolate, chopped
    • 225g chocolate coated digestive biscuits
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 250g Maltesers®

    Prep:5min  ›  Extra time:30min  ›  Ready in:35min 

    1. Melt the butter, syrup and milk chocolate in a saucepan.
    2. Beat the digestives with a rolling pin and add them to the saucepan along with the vanilla.
    3. Add the Maltesers® and stir until everything is incorporated.
    4. Spoon into a circular cake tin and put into the fridge to chill for at least 30 minutes.
    5. Remove, slice and eat.

    Made this yesterday and felt there were too many maltesers compared to the amount of chocolate, mine was just a slab of maltesers stuck together! But was still yummy so wasn't too disappointed! X  -  01 Feb 2015


    This was polished off very quickly by my husband, our children and our guest a couple of weeks ago. I am making it again this weekend, on request. I find it mega sweet but that's a good thing!  -  12 Aug 2017
