About this recipe: Baguette slices are brushed with thyme-infused honey, fresh figs and Brie cheese in this gloriously quick yet elegant starter or nibble.


Serves: 6 

  • 100g honey
  • 1 small bunch thyme
  • 500g Brie cheese, sliced
  • 1 baguette, sliced
  • 250g fresh figs, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Prep:10min  ›  Cook:5min  ›  Ready in:15min 

  1. Melt honey in a small pan, add thyme and bring to a simmer. Take off heat and let cool.
  2. Melt butter in a frying pan and add figs. Cook for a few seconds on each side. Be careful when turning to avoid tearing them.
  3. Brush baguette slices with warm honey, top with cheese and then with slices of figs.
