Low calorie cabbage and beetroot salad


    A light cabbage and beetroot salad with apples, garlic, and lemon juice (or vinegar). Add a slice of fresh bread, and you have a great meal!

    Serves: 4 

    • 200g cabbage, thinly shredded
    • 1 small uncooked beetroot, shredded
    • 2 cloves of garlic, crushed
    • 1/2 apple, shredded
    • 12 lemon, juiced or 1 tablespoon vinegar (9%)
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
    • 1/2 teaspoon sugar, or to taste
    • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

    1. Add ½ teaspoon of salt to the cabbage and rub thoroughly to soften.
    2. Add shredded beets, crushed garlic, shredded apple, lemon juice (or vinegar), and sugar. Mix thoroughly and let stand for 15 minutes.
    3. Sprinkle with chopped parsley.
