This gooey delicious crunchy brownie will literally be oozing chocolate when you cut into it.

100g chopped almonds
2 tablespoons caster sugar
1 tablespoon whole almonds
1 tablespoon caster sugar
150g plain chocolate
2 tablespoons milk
150g salted butter, softened
150g caster sugar
3 tablespoons plain flour
1 tablespoon Nutella®

Place a nonstick frying pan over low heat, add chopped almonds and sprinkle with 2 tablespoons sugar. Stir constantly until almonds are coated with caramel. Put almonds on greaseproof paper to cool. When cooled, crush coarsely. Repeat process with whole almonds, sprinkle with 1 tablespoon sugar and set aside on greaseproof paper.
Preheat oven to 180 C / Gas 4. Line a 23x30cm baking with greaseproof paper.
In a microwave safe bowl break chocolate into pieces, pour in milk and melt in microwave for 2 minutes on high.
In another bowl combine 150g butter and 150g sugar and stir until mixture lightens in colour. Add eggs and flour and mix well. Pour in chocolate, then add Nutella® and caramelised slivered almonds and mix again.
Pour mixture into prepared tin and bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool before unmoulding from tin. Decorate with whole caramelised almonds and serve.
