About this recipe:Mirabelle plums are a prized variety in France. If you're lucky to find them or have a tree of your own, preserve the flavour with this simply delicious plum jam recipe. Note: As this is a French confiture recipe, it contains more fruit and won't set as much as a regular jam would.

1kg ripe mirabelle plums, stones removed and halved
