In a small saucepan melt the butter over medium heat and fry onion until soft.
Add vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce und black pepper und bring to the boil. Add ketchup, water and celery salt, stir and simmer for 15 minutes stirring occasionally, until the sauce is thick and smooth. Set aside to cool and store in the fridge until needed.
