Spicy stir fry beef with snap peas

    I had half a bottle of hoison sauce in my cupboard so I made this quick and easy dinner with a green chilli pepper, steak strips and sugar snap peas. Serve with white or brown rice.

    Serves: 2 

    • 1 tablespoon oil
    • 1 onion, sliced
    • 4 garlic cloves, minced
    • 1 green chilli pepper, minced
    • 200g beef steak strips
    • 200g sugar snap peas or mangetout
    • 100ml hoisin sauce

    1. Heat oil in a large frying pan or wok and stir fry onion for about 5 minutes, until soft. Stir in garlic and chilli.
    2. Add steak and snow peas and fry until meat is brown on all sides for about 5 more minutes. Pour in hoisin sauce, stir and cook until heated through.
