Preheat the barbecue and grease the cooking grate. Whisk together the olive oil, salt, pepper and herbes de Provence in a bowl. Brush the chicken legs with the mixture.
Cook the chicken legs on the barbecue until golden on the outside and no longer pink at the centre, turning regularly, 10 to 15 minutes.
Mix things up and use almost anything seasoning you can imagine. Instead of the herbes de Provence you can use dried Italian herbs, Cajun seasoning, Chinese five spice, etc.
