BBQ chicken legs

    Cooking on the BBQ requires little preparation and effort as it imparts loads of flavour on its own. These barbecued chicken legs exemplify how easy it is to cook something simple and delicious on the BBQ. Just olive oil, dried herbs, salt and pepper is all you need!

    Serves: 6 

    • 150ml olive oil
    • salt and freshly ground black pepper
    • 2 tablespoons herbes de Provence
    • 12 chicken legs

    Method
    Prep:5min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:20min 

    1. Preheat the barbecue and grease the cooking grate. Whisk together the olive oil, salt, pepper and herbes de Provence in a bowl. Brush the chicken legs with the mixture.
    2. Cook the chicken legs on the barbecue until golden on the outside and no longer pink at the centre, turning regularly, 10 to 15 minutes.

    Tip

    Mix things up and use almost anything seasoning you can imagine. Instead of the herbes de Provence you can use dried Italian herbs, Cajun seasoning, Chinese five spice, etc.
