Ugali

    This African side dish tastes really nice when served with chicken curry. If you don't have fine polenta, you can blitz regular polenta in a food processor.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 6 

    • 900ml water
    • 400g maize flour or fine polenta

    Method
    Prep:2min  ›  Cook:5min  ›  Ready in:7min 

    1. Bring water to the boil in a large saucepan. Stir in maize flour and stir till water is absorbed. When absorbed, remove from heat and let rest 5 minutes. Serve with curry or fish.

    Tip

    You can adjust the consistency by using more or less maize flour.
