About this recipe:
This dip is ideal for a starter: the prep is simple and quick, and it's economical. Just because it's budget, however, doesn't mean it won't bring a gourmet touch to your party.
1 small tin sardines packed in oil
100g cream cheese, softened
4 tablespoons finely chopped fresh chives

- Drain the oil from the sardines, and place them in a bowl. Break them up with a fork.
- Mix in the cream cheese and chives with a fork until well combined. Chill for 15 minutes before serving.
Enjoy with breadsticks, toasted baguette or crackers.
