Apple fritters
Everyone from young to old will enjoy these apple fritters. You can sprinkle sugar over these apple fritters. Cinnamon sugar would also be a treat.
Ingredients
Makes: 24 apple fritters
- 200g plain flour
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 egg, beaten
- 250ml milk
- 1 to 2 apples, cut into little pieces
- oil for deep frying

- Mix all the dry ingredients together and then add the beaten egg, milk and lastly, the apple pieces. Mix well.
- Heat the oil in a deep saucepan. Take big spoonfuls of the mixture and drop them one by one in the hot oil. Make sure not to crowd the pan; fry in batches if needed. Fry the fritters until they are golden brown. Place the fritters on a piece of kitchen roll to absorb the oil. Serve warm and enjoy!
