Ingredients
Makes: 2 to 3 waffles
- 1 egg
- 125ml milk
- 20g melted butter
- 70g plain flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 to 2 teaspoons sugar (to taste)

- Beat the egg, add the milk and melted butter. (To make the waffles extra fluffy, beat the egg whites and yolks separately to get maximum amount of air into the mixture).
- Add the flour, baking powder and sugar, and gently mix to a smooth batter.
- Pour batter into waffle maker and cook til golden brown.
