Marshmallow melts

    Chocolaty biscuit with a sweet gooey centre, takes under 5 minutes to make and great for all ages. They are a great snack for children, and easy to make with kids.

    Ingredients
    Makes: 10 

    • 20 digestive biscuits
    • 10 marshmallows
    • 1 small bar melted chocolate

    Method
    Prep:2min  ›  Cook:1min  ›  Ready in:3min 

    1. Place 1 marshmallow on top of a digestive. Put into the microwave for 5-10 seconds, making sure the marshmallow doesn't drip off of the biscuit.
    2. Take out of the microwave and put another digestive on top of the melted marshmallow.
    3. If you are using melted chocolate spread a thin layer on the top of the digestive biscuit.

    Tip

    Use chocolate digestives instead of ordinary digestives to skip the chocolate bar and save time.
    You can keep these for a few days in the fridge, or eat them hot. Make sure you keep an eye on the marshmallow in the microwave as it is very sticky so best not to get much inside the microwave. This recipe makes 10 marshmallow melts but you can make more by doubling up the ingredients.
