Cut off the zest of half an orange and half a lemon in a spiral fashion. Juice the oranges and lemon.
In a saucepan combine apple juice, orange juice, lemon juice, cinnamon sticks, cloves, orange and lemon zest and heat slowly on low temperature. Don't bring to the boil, just allow the flavours to infuse for 1 hour over low heat.
