Sift flour into a large mixing bowl. Add milk and mix with an electric beater or whisk. Add eggs and salt; mix until smooth.
Heat butter in a frying pan and pour in 1/4 of the batter. Cook until the edges of the pancake look dry, flip and cook on the other side, until golden brown. Repeat with the rest of the pancake batter.
