About this recipe:
This is a very inviting Italian starter, superbly easy to make, and a real crowd-pleaser. Serve with crusty bread.
1 punnet cherry tomatoes, halved
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
60g olives, pitted and chopped
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 pinch salt
250g buffalo mozzarella cheese, sliced
1 sprig rosemary
1 red chilli, chopped
Extra time:30min marinating ›
- In a bowl, combine the tomatoes, garlic, olives and oil. Add salt to taste and let sit for 30 minutes.
- Arrange the mozzarella slices on a large serving platter. Sprinkle with the rosemary and red chilli, then spoon over the tomato mixture. Serve!
This was just okay for us. Seemed bland but I might liven this up next time with some chili sauce or Srirachia. thanks for posting
