About this recipe:A lunchtime treat, this Italian sandwich is made with the best crusty bread and loaded with ham, salami and Italian cheeses.
1 (500g) loaf ciabatta or other Italian bread
5 tablespoons olive oil
5 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon dried basil
1 tablespoon dried oregano
8 black olives, pitted and chopped
8 green olives, pitted and chopped
110g thinly sliced salami
110g thinly sliced ham
225g provolone or taleggio cheese, sliced
110g mozzarella cheese, sliced

Slice bread in half lengthways. Drizzle olive oil on both cut sides. Sprinkle both sides with Parmesan cheese, basil and oregano.
On the bottom half, layer black and green olives, then the salami, ham, provolone and mozzarella. Cover with top layer, and cut into 4 servings.
This makes four sandwiches - perfect if you're packing lunches for the whole family. But you can simply halve or quarter the quantities to make fewer sandwiches, and you could use an individual ciabatta roll for each sandwich instead.
