About this recipe: An old recipe but foolproof. Plus it's easy to throw together in a hurry. You don't need to worry about exact quantities of sultanas or currants - just use whatever kind of dried fruit you like.

Have made two or three successfully, so easy. My latest is in the oven, and has sunk, but I used soaked fruit. - 19 Dec 2015

Followed recipe but it was nowhere near cooked. Then it sunk in the middle. Disappointing. - 13 Oct 2015
