About this recipe: The lamb chops are cooked on the barbecue and served with an exotic apricot-lemon sauce. Really tasty!

Serves: 4 

  • 4 lamb chops
  • garlic salt to taste
  • rosemary to taste
  • For the sauce
  • 4 tablespoons apricot preserve
  • 1 glass dry white wine
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • black pepper and salt to taste
  • juice of two lemons
  • 2 teaspoons teriyaki or soy sauce

  1. Preheat barbecue for medium high heat.
  2. Sprinkle lamb chops with garlic salt and rosemary and barbecue until crisp and brown.
  3. Blend all ingredients for the sauce together in pan and cook slowly until thick and thoroughly mixed together.
  4. Dip each grilled chop into some of the sauce and spoon over a little more on a serving dish. Serve remainder of sauce separately.
