About this recipe:
You won't miss the flour in these chocolatey, fudgy, amazing brownies! Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream!
200g caster sugar
2 eggs, beaten
50g chocolate, melted
1/2 teaspoon gluten-free baking powder
1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
70g ground almonds
150g chocolate chips

Preheat the oven to 190 C / Gas mark 5. Line a 20cm square baking tin with greaseproof paper.
Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs until a smooth consistency.
Stir in the melted chocolate, baking powder, vanilla essence, cocoa powder, ground almonds and chocolate chips. Pour into the prepared baking tin.
Bake in the preheated oven until the centre is set, 25 to 30 minutes. Allow to cool on a wire rack before cutting into squares.
Made twice for a gluten free friend and twice it raised then went flat :-(

Absolutely fantastic brownie. Couldn't improve on it, I don't think. The best thing is that is doesn't use a GF flour, so you don't get that slightly strange taste which gives away that it is GF. Thanks for a really good recipe. I will be making it regularly.
