    About this recipe: Enjoy smoked kippers in this easy to make pâté. Smoked kippers are blended with cream cheese, chives and lemon juice for a fresh and satisfying flavour. Make this ahead of time and chill till serving.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 6 

    • 225g (8 oz) smoked kippers, flaked
    • 175g (6 oz) cream cheese
    • 2 teaspoons chopped chives
    • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
    • 1 pinch paprika
    • 50g (2 oz) butter
    • salt and pepper to taste

    1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Chill for about 1 hour and serve with crackers or warm toast.

    Tip

    You can use more or less cream cheese to taste.
