Crush the stock cubes into powder (I do this with pestle and mortar).
Quarter the onion and place in the slow cooker. Add all the other ingredients and marinate the chicken. You could at this point leave overnight in the fridge. I have not used salt as OXO® is quite salty.
Cook in slow cooker for 5 to 6 hours.
Please adjust spices and herbs according to taste, I have left it quite mild due to young kids but I will add more chilli flakes when I plate my own up.
