About this recipe: A no-cook cheese pate that whips up in minutes and is perfect for parties. Serve with crackers or thin slices of crusty bread.

Serves: 8 

  • 340g cream cheese
  • 170g Cheddar cheese, finely grated
  • 170g Red Leicester cheese, finely grated
  • 4 spring onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon mixed fresh herbs, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon caraway seeds
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Prep:15min  ›  Extra time:30min chilling  ›  Ready in:45min 

  1. Beat cream cheese until soft; stir in Cheddar cheese, Red Leicester cheese, onions, fresh herbs and caraway seeds. Season with black pepper.
  2. Spoon into serving dishes and refrigerate until cold, at least 30 minutes.
