Melt butter and condensed milk in a saucepan over low heat - do not allow to boil. Stir in sugar and allow to melt, stirring continuously. Add ginger, biscuits and walnuts; pour into a flat baking tin or tray and allow to set, 1 to 2 hours.
I made this today and I must say it is stunningly easy to make and extremely delicious... I added a touch more ginger than the recipie said and glad I did... just the right amount of zing!!! Thank you I will def make this again and again - 16 Dec 2012
I made this today. I added an extra 1/2 teaspoon of ginger and reduced the biscuits to half the amount and added extra walnut, it has a lovely creamy , caramel flavour with the added zing of ginger. Delicious!!! - 10 Dec 2015
