340g (12 oz) rindless streaky bacon, chopped and cooked
salt and pepper, to taste

Briefly immerse the beans in a saucepan with hot water, just for about 5 minutes until they turn bright green. Drain and plunge into cold water. Drain and set aside.
Cook pasta in a large saucepan with lightly salted water until al dente. Drain.
Soften the cream cheese over gentle heat with the cream and milk. Stir in beans and bacon and cook for 1 minute until heated through.
Combine the pasta and the sauce and toss. Season and sprinkle with chives to serve.
