Malagueña Style Tuna Tapas

    A traditional Spanish Tapas served as a daily snack with crusty bread. Delicious at any time, this is my take on the Malagueña version. Enjoy and dream of the sunshine while you eat it.

    • 2 tins Tuna in Olive Oil - mashed and retained in oil
    • ½tsp Garlic - finely chopped
    • 1oz Onion - finely chopped
    • 1oz Green Pepper - to taste - finely chopped
    • 1oz Red Pepper - to taste - finely chopped
    • Salt and freshly ground Black Pepper
    • Optional - Touch finely chopped red/green chilli
    • Garnish - Sprinkling flat leaf Parsley - finely chopped


    1. Put the tuna and oil in a small bowl, add the garlic, onion, peppers and, if using, chilli, season with salt and pepper and combine thoroughly.
