    About this recipe: An easy midweek dinner of pork chops cooked in a creamy onion gravy. Serve with mash and some green veg.

    Serves: 4 

    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
    • 4 bone-in pork chops
    • 1 (400g) tin condensed cream of mushroom soup
    • 2 tablespoons French onion soup mix (from a packet)
    • 80ml milk
    • 1 tablespoon dry sherry

    1. Heat olive oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Brown pork chops, 5 to 8 minutes per side.
    2. Mix cream of mushroom soup, dry onion soup mix, milk and sherry in a bowl; pour over pork chops. Cover and reduce heat to medium-low. Simmer until pork chops are tender and no longer pink inside, 15 to 20 minutes.
