    About this recipe: My flatmate knows I'm such a picky eater so she made these cookies and called them "Low Fat", which they are to an extent, but I love them, lil dry but they are lush. She makes them and I eat all of them.

    Ingredients
    Makes: 2 dozen cookies

    • 175g butter, room temperature
    • 150g brown sugar
    • 1 egg
    • 275g plain flour
    • 75g oats
    • 60ml milk
    • 40 to 100g chocolate chips

    Method
    Prep:10min  ›  Cook:12min  ›  Ready in:22min 

    1. Preheat the oven to 180 C / Gas 4 and grease a few baking trays.
    2. Put everything in a bowl and stir! You can cream the butter and the sugar first but this recipe is good because you can just throw it all in a bowl and mix.
    3. Use a tablespoon and spoon the mixture into blobs on the baking trays. Put it in the oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
    4. Leave on the side so a feral jade will come along and eat them all.

    Tip

    I mixed it up a bit by putting in 40g of raisins, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence in with the recipe to make oatmeal raisin cookies.
