In a large frying pan put 3 tbls olive oil and fry the rabbit with the chopped garlic and red wine for about 8 minutes. In a large casserole pot put the remaining 3 tbls olive oil and fry the chopped onions for about 4 minutes, mix the water (you can heat the water if you like) with tomato paste, mixed spice and curry and then add to onions, add chopped tomatoes and peas and mix together. Add potatoes and then the rabbit and garlic with its liquid and finally the sliced unpeeled apples. Bring to boil and let simmer for about 50 minutes until cooked through.
